About the Maker

Lupe is originally from Mexico City, Mexico, but was raised and currently lives in Madison, WI. Established in 2024, Monarch Threads comes from Lupe’s passion to make silly little bags to gift friends and loved ones.

Everything in this shop is handmade by Lupe with help of her partner, Beny, under the supervision of their two dogs, Frijol and Jackson. Lupe’s home studio, where all products are carefully made is located in Sun Prairie, WI.

Remember, you can never have too many tote bags!
